Boat Ops 1- Standard Operator
Our entry level training has been developed with the new boater in mind. We begin with an in-depth primer and “classroom” session to introduce the student to the Rules of the Road, vessel maneuvering, safety and vessel mechanics and operation. Our Academy prides itself on getting you at the helm right away so that you get the most hands-on time, behind the wheel, as possible. We go through a series of Academy exercises and skill building techniques. By the end of the training, you will be adept at throttle control, steering, docking and coming in and out of the slip safely.

Boat Ops 2- Advanced Offshore Operator
Our Advanced training will review and sharpen your docking skills and then further expand on open water skills. This skills will include anchoring, emergency procedures, navigating, and so much more.

Custom “On Your Boat”- Standard Operator (with Insurance Certificate available)
This entry level training has been developed with the boater in mind who needs training on their own personal vessel. We start with a systems assessment and research the vessel prior to and with the owner/operator Our Academy prides itself on getting you at the helm right away so that you get the most time behind the wheel. We go through a series of Academy exercises and skill building techniques tailored to your skill level, slip or marina and your personalized needs. By the end of the training, you will be adept at throttle control, steering, docking and coming in and out of your slip safely on your vessel.
(Be aware more than one session may be required contingent on your individual Insurance co. requirements and your needs)

Trailer Ops – Launch and Retrieval and land maneuvering
Our Trailer Ops training will familiarize you with launching and retrieval of a trailable boat, emphasizing important safety concerns and checklists. We will cover maneuvering a car and trailer and backing down a launch ramp in order to launch and retrieve a vessel.
